Well deserved immigration

Was watching the Today show this morning and saw a segment on Iraqis that helped Americans during the war who want to now immigrate to the U.S..
Legal immigration like this I can whole heartedly support.These are not people who want to come here to be a drain on our system.They want to be responsible for themselves.

Oh. I thought you were making some veiled point regarding my insinuation that Iraqis who've helped the US needn't necessarily be model immigrants. If I'd known you were being so redundant I'd have left you to it.

Although to be completely honest, I was also making the veiled point that it's not wrong to assume the best of someone (e.g that an immigrant might actually want to be productive).

Ahh....but the implication in the original post was that their desire to be productive and responsible for themselves would go against the norm for immigrants.
