| No, Obama doesn't have it wrapped up. I never trust polls, because I have yet to come across one that is truly accurate and comprehensive. It's the nature of polls that they can't be. I think McCain can still win this. And I won't be donating any money to Obama, because I think he will do just as bad a job as McCain, if not worse. That's why I'm writing in my vote. If you compromise your ideals, then your ideals are meaningless anyway, because you don't stick to them even in the face of overwhelming hopelessness.

| May ask who you are writing in? I am sure Obama will struggle and make mistakes. He represents a new direction and generation in the country and that is the main reason I voted for him. L, Aitch |

| It's no secret; I'm writing in Ron Paul. He's a politician I believe in whole heartedly, who would actually challenge the foundations of the failed system we currently have, instead of simply making short sighted policy changes that aren't really anything new in the American political arena. |

| No. The election isn't over, until it's over. It certainly isn't looking good for the McCain/Palin ticket however...

| (I like to be polite ITGI thought you were going to say Mickey Mouse. I can respect your vote for Ron Paul. My family thinks I am crazy or immoral because I believe strongly that both maraijuana and prostitution should be legalized and use the tax as revenue for the country. Like an improved health care system---or whatever-- But I do not classify myself LIbertarian. I forgot why Ron Paul is a Repub. why is he? Aitch |

| As one of the few things I don't like about him, it was a political move to have is name more recognized and appeal to straight ticket voters. At least from how I understand it; I doubt that's the official reason. |

| Nope, Obama incites just as much opposition as he does support. So I'd say that neither of them have it wrapped up until Nov. 5th...

| In Colorado, you wouldn't have to write in RP. He is already on the ballot with about 15 other Presidential candidates. |

If anything, that just speaks poorly of how updated Colorado is, doesn't it? Edit: Back to the point of this thread... If Obama doesn't win, IMHO, it'll likely be due to voter fraud or douches that didn't bother to vote because they thought Obama had it in the bag. Right now, there are 3 or 4 major, non-partisan electoral vote sites that put Obama far ahead of McCain. In fact, the only place I can see differently is on Fox "news", who is somehow messing with the numbers enough to make it look like McCain is leading at times. Here's a fun image I found the other day: ![]() Keep in mind, this isn't like the Kerry let down... that was like 279 to 2something-something... this is a bit more of a padding.

ADHD is like having a bunch of TVs in your head, all running different programs, and having no ability to control them. Marijuana not only appears to give me a remote, it also allows me to shut off all the other TVs sucking up the juice... which makes the TV I'm watching a bit brighter. | |
