By your logic, some parts of these prophecies are to be taken literally and some are to be taken figuratively with no actual indicators of where the literal part ends and the figurative part begins. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I'm just trying to point out the lack of logic in that type of reasoning. i.e. "The titan shall fall at the feet of the eagle." Well America has been having financial trouble lately and the eagle is on our money! ![]() "A dark power shall rise and soon bring darkness to the rest of the world." Barack Obama is black and he just became president, so he'll soon spread evil to the whole world! (note the differing interpretation of the word "dark" in the same prediction )The above aren't actual prophecies as far as I know, but my point is that these are the type of logical liberties taken in order to have them fit into pretty much whatever situation one chooses. And not to jack the thread or anything, but could someone please briefly explain to me what, exactly an antichrist is? ![]() | |
