Come on Andrew, you know that's not what he meant.
The term he used was "ethnic diversity".
And I agree with him...

I know. What I don't see is how the term "ethnic diversity" is really anything beyond incredibly superficial. All I see it as is another thing that makes people "feel good" when viewing its face value, but realize what a sham it is when it's actually read into.

- although this is only my opinion. If there is something which I am horribly mistaken of, I would gladly accept criticism.

As someone with a different ethnic background, Obama has been part of a different subculture than most run-of-the-mill politicians. The merits of such are debatable, but I think it's pretty clear that it could bring diversity to Washington. Or, for all we know he could be the same as the rest. It's hard to tell with politicians.

Okay - now that I think makes much more sense.

I just get a bit frustrated hearing people preach about "ethnic diversity" thinking that they are doing a good thing when in reality it seems they are only keeping racism alive.

I agree with you. It's just a rehashing of the quota system.

Anyway Obama is winning at the minute.

Obama is now estimated to have 1,661 elected and pledged delegates, leading his opponent by 162; he leads Hillary Clinton in superdelegates by 40. This produces an overall 202-delegate Obama lead, with 1,984 to Clinton's 1,782, towards the 2,026 total (pledged and unpledged) delegates needed to win the nomination

If that map is a representation of how it will turn out in November, he'll lose. Keep that in mind.

Auctually hes winning and Clinton is considering giving up her campaign,it just shows who the counties voted and does not bring population into account and if you look at the Northern States you will find they support Obama so hopefully he will win.

I was making a comparison between now and the November election, If John McCain wins the states that Hillary won, its all over. The preachers that hang with Barak Obama have poisoned the air with the stench of racial animosity.
