no....I'll continue buying ammo, becasue I think that may very well be the new target of the gun control groups. Its been decided that gun bans are unConstitutional by ther USSC. However, nothing out there presently protects the ammo needed to make those foirearms anything but expensive wall decorations. I'm debating the purchase of at least 1000 more rounds for every caliber of weapon I own, but cunrrently, due to high prices on such ammo, thats a big financial commitment I simply cannot make at this point. With some ammo cosating as much as 40 bucks per 20 rounds, its simply unfeasible. I wish I could have forcasted the rise of ammo prices 10 years ago, as they have doubl;ed and in some cases tripled since then. I don't foresee the situation improving with a new administration, either, since at one time Obama voiced his support for ammo taxes up to 5000% of the current rate. The argument was that "expanding" bullets are only used to kill people.....nevermiond the fact they are also far and away the most populart type of bullet for hunting for the exact same reasons....an expanding bullet causes more trauma on impact, which is what is needed to effectively anchor a game animal (or person) in tgheir tracks. Quite frankly, should I ever have to shoot someone, I want to stop them ASAP, not shoot them with bullets that pass thru without expansion or causing damage
