Joe Biden is no friend to the marijuana legalization cause. He gave us the office of the Drug Czar.. the head propogandist for the drug war, and then some of the worst legislation I've seen come down the pike in the last 10 years.. The Rave Act I agree with Troublemaker, the choice of Biden is a negative.

This is a good thing for Joe Biden. He's been trying to get into the Oval Office since 88. He would have jumped on board even if Satan was his running mate.

Did i say that? No, I didn't. I said (and I still feel this way) that I'm uncomfortable having a president and vice president who are both pro gun control in a major way. I never said I'd be immediately arrested or even implied such a thing. However, I think I have a valid concern and a right to be be wary of these two, despite how ridiculous you may feel it is. As far as Biden's wonderful record on drug reform goes, check out the Anti Rave Act he pushed through on the shirttails of the Amber alert resitration. Sounds like a real progressive guy

Obama's selection of Biden was, at best, lame. Hillary should have been his pick. Remember that half the democratic party wanted Hillary. He could have done a lot to patch up the party but his pride got in the way.

Biden is everywhere on the voting record. i mean he voted yes for illegals to get SS, but yet voted yes to build a wall. i question this guy greatly. not only are we to keep them out but were also supposed to give SS benefits to illegals? That more of my money and yours going over seas.

My gun rights are very important to me cause no cop will be there when i need them when time counts. That's one reason i lean to Rep. Obama will want all guns registered which by my standards is no different than the Nazis in WWII cause after everyone registered or the ones who followed the law had there guns confiscated. Gun rights for me comes before MJ.

Democrats want guns registered and in Cali they passed the most dumbest law of all which is the micro stamp (people reload, and collect a lot of brass at the range which there for would be stamped with another guys mark) This is why i hate and despise democrats willing to pass the dumbest laws that do absolutely nothing. A criminal will always have a weapon but a law abiding citizen won't. Good logic don't you think.

Next thing you know the guy robbing you're house at 2 am will have a 40s&w and the government will have taken leagally registered non-criminally used Remington 870, so you'll be at the mercy of that bastard. I also want to point out I think Hillary would have been a much more suitable VP than Biden may end up being. I put my gun rights before MJ because I still smoke and it's not legal - you can not go to the shooting range if civilians are not allowed to posses firearms if the law should go so far.

I'm definitely glad it wasn't hillary (let's face it, she was as scary as McCain and almost as psychotic when it came to making stuff up)... but I'm just not feeling this Biden thing.

Sure it might be your right, but why would you want to be able to kill someone?
You're far more likely to kill a person with a gun than you are to injure them.

I grew up in Downey, CA. Downey has one of the highest gang activities outside LA. Right now, I live less than 10 miles away from Compton. Yes, COMPTON. That city that you see in the movie Boyz in Da Hood, in which there's a gang shooting about every 10 minutes... that city you hear about where white people aren't allowed...

Guns.. all they do is hurt people. EVER. Even if with a gun you save yourself, chances are you've killed someone else by doing so.
I don't want a gun, I have no need for a gun. I'm not afraid, why should you be? Isn't that what Bush wants? Fear?

As far as Biden goes, he seems to be just another politician.

It is a Political issue we are discussing about gun control and I have guns that only kill game I harvest, and do a nasty job on some paper/clay targets, Biden is "Just another politician" look at his voting history, Obama did himself no favors on this one
