Want to see DPA's executive director, Ethan Nadelmann, battle a White House spokesperson in a live debate over medical marijuana? You know you do.

The screening will be followed by a live debate between two medical marijuana supporters (Ethan Nadelmann, executive director and founder of the Drug Policy Alliance; and Rob Kampia, executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project) and two medical marijuana opponents (David Murray, the special assistant to the White House drug czar; and Steve Steiner, the executive director of Dads and Mad Moms Against Drug Dealers.) "Waiting to Inhale: Marijuana, Medicine and the Law" is an entertaining educational documentary that examines both sides of the heated debate over medical marijuana in the United States. The film takes viewers inside the lives of seriously ill patients who have benefited from medical marijuana, as well as those who oppose the medical use of marijuana. "Waiting to Inhale" addresses frequently asked questions, such as "Is marijuana really a gateway drug?" and "What evidence is there to support the claim that marijuana can alleviate symptoms of AIDS, cancer and multiple sclerosis?" "Waiting to Inhale" sheds new light on this controversy and presents shocking new evidence that could change the future of medicine.

Please RSVP to kcollins@drugpolicy.org if you are planning to attend this highly anticipated screening.

I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Bill Piper
