|  [The D'Alliance] Mabel is Unstable Someone collected a bunch of old prescription drug ads and posted them to livejournal. Check it out. There's everything from thorazine to methadone to novocaine. I think my two favorite ads, mainly because of the societal attitudes they bespeak, are: Mornidine, a drug to curb morning sickness. The slogan? "Now she can cook breakfast again." Butisol: "Mabel is unstable. She just can't help being impatient and exasperating--it's 'that time' in her life.
