| Yeah, It's cool to go to a shop to sit and smoke pot...wish I could do it here... But what I'd REALLY like to be able to do is go to a shop, but a bag of awesome green and then go home and smoke like crazy and be totally within my rights. Why? All my cool shit is here. I have the music *I* want to listen to, my XboX360, my computer...my comfy couch that I love...my fish that I can talk to whilst stoned. . . I mean, going to a coffee shop in A-dam is like going to a bar here in America. I prefer to enjoy my off-topic beverages at home due to calm, docile, and safe nature of my home. IDK...just my lame opinion.

| Wow, I'd be grateful to be able to smoke marijuana legally.... But i guess since theyve had this freedom, they take it somewhat for granted I used to do this with my german friend, who was accustomed to doing it as he previously lived in amsterdam for a short period of time. It is easier on the lungs, and it rolled fatter joints with less bud (obviously), but id still stick with straight green. And considering i quit smoking tobacco (I chew snus now) even if I lived in Amsterdam this wouldnt really put me in a pickle... but i do feel for them it does seem kinda backwards (from an American point of view) |

| The first time I went to Amsterdam I smoked only pre-rolled spliffs in coffee shops. They got me fairly high, but this was when I was still somewhat of a lightweight in the smoking game. Times have changed since then. I can't wait to go back, and luckily I only have to wait until August 7th. No spliffs this time! But on another note, I'm really surprised about Europe's stricter tobacco laws. It seems to me that cigarettes and cigars are a way of life over there...I guess they are finally figuring out how shitty they are for you.

and TBH i didn't read your post, didn't catch my eye. But if it's decriminalized and tolerated, as your posts says, that just means you have to put forth the effort to go down to the cannabis shop to buy your green and smoke it there. Which I would find fantastic and would definitely put forth that effort instead of smoking out in the street. and not to sound like or be a jerk, but to me thats essentially legal, if you can go down to your local coffee shop and smoke some marijuana in their premises, thats as close as it needs to get to being legal for me to consider it legal.
