7/02/08/PoststaPolice: Mother who owned homer.com/By OMAR AQUIJE

JOHNSBURG — Police said a Lake George woman who owned a Johnsburg home that her sons had used to grow and store marijuana was arrested Monday.

Deborah Doetsch, 57, of 463 Flat Rock Road in Lake George, was charged with misdemeanor counts of fifth-degree conspiracy and unlawful growing of cannabis, police said.

In March, police seized 37 marijuana plants and more than 10 pounds of dried marijuana from 79 Cemetery Road Extension, police said.

Her sons, Ryan Nelson and Logan Doetsch, were arrested at the time, and each was charged with two felony counts of first-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

A follow-up investigation revealed that Deborah Doetsch had been paying the mortgage and for the electric power at the Johnsburg home.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the Capital District Drug Enforcement Task Force handled the investigation.

Deborah Doetsch was arraigned in Warren County Court and was released on her own recognizance.

She will appear in court at a later date.
