|  MI: Marijuana Plants Found at Botanical gardens Of U.S.University MI: Marijuana Plants Found At Botanical Gardens Of US University 07/05/2008/ GMANEWs.TV/ AP ANN ARBOR TOWNSHIP, Michigan - Police say they've found suspected marijuana plants at a University of Michigan botanical garden for the second time this year. The Ann Arbor News reports campus police have yanked five plants out of a wooded area at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Volunteers at the gardens in Ann Arbor Township, near the school's main Ann Arbor campus, had reported the plants to police. In February, 11 suspected marijuana plants were discovered in a garden greenhouse intermixed with plants from a biology research project. University of Michigan police Lt. Bob Neumann says he doesn't believe the incidents are related. - AP

|  I'd be surprised if they didn't find weed growing at the U of M botanical gardens! Ann Arbor is the weed capital of the midwest. My first night there, as a freshman in 1967, a guy was going up and down the hallways with a big leather mailman's sack, selling ounces to anyone who wanted it.
