I still have a ton of work to do, and several decisions to make regarding the development of the site.

I'll be taking a look at the scroll issue you posted about this afternoon.

The main object of the new site is to get people more involved, so im not sure if unregistere users will be able to vote. We'll see.

Thanks for allowing strangers to continue to comment. I checked out the site today as a register user and I really like the change in format. There are some definite advantages to being registered, especially being able to express more of 'who you are' with the signature feature. I also like the ability a user has for archiving information, tailored to their liking.

Regretably, I personally don't feel comfortable with a forced login/email yet, but I'm starting to warm up to the idea...


It does appear that you ought to be able to 'sort' stranger posting using the username under the new format, at least on the backend of the house.

As far as I can tell, the stranger voteing function works fine, when a 'stranger' posts, they have to change the user name from unregistered to something else.

Also the existing text from the previously posted message appears in the box I'm currently typing in. No big deal, but I did have to delete the text before begining to compose a message.

Is it possible to set up text formatting (font, color, size) for stranger/unregistered users.

Congrats for all you fine folks here at Marijuana.com, you guys do a great job and I look forward to seeing you folks 'reap what you sow'.

This one I can answer. If you click the little paper icon just to the right of the reply button, you can do a quick reply at the bottom of the page.

Looks like the quote button went away, and reply automatically does it.

At the bottom of the page after you click on the paper icon, there is a check box if you want to quote theo original comment.

The more I play with this interface the more I like it...

Now I'm going to totally change the subject and still stay within the bounds of the rules or remaining on topic by saying that by the time I hit the "Submit Reply" button, it will be my birthday... This new front page is the best birthday present I have recieved in years...

I was envious when Pan got a shiny new board for his birthday, and now I get a shiny new front page for mine...

I was trying to dredge up my old birthday thread and recycle it, but can't find it, there must be a bug in the search feature...
