|  I recall the broadcast when he denounced the Viet Nam war,and the failed drug war. And I recall thinking that,now that a prominent newscaster,and even then,icon,had announced the failure,our legislators would pay attention and at least study it,but no,they plod down the road,too busy lining their own pockets and the pockets of their supporters. He was one of a kind. |
