MI: Daughter calls cops on mom, accusing her of growing marijuana Jennifer Chambers | The Detroit News | 10/12/2009 |  ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. : A 19-year-old daughter called the police Sunday to investigate allegations that her mother was growing marijuana in the family's Rochester Hills living room. The teen called the Oakland County Sheriff's Department about 4:30 p.m. Sunday and told a deputy that her 40-year-old mother was growing marijuana plants in the house. The mother consented to a search of the home, police said. Investigators recovered two large plants, drug paraphernalia and a stem. The mother was questioned and released. Warrants are being sought today, police said.
