First of all, its an Obamanation, not obination (or abomination if you actually want to spell it right but who could miss a chance to use such a fitting pun??) and secondly, if I was a teenager, my parents wouldn't give two shits if it was apporved for medical use (as it is in 13 states already), ESPECIALLY if I didn't have a valid recommendation form a DR. Just becasue the Prez says medical use is OK in states with medical mj programs set up doesn't mean teenagers caught wioth herb will be given a free pass by their parents or the police I mean, oxycodone and even cocaine "are approved for medical use" under federal law, but that doesn't mean parents are going to simply shrug it off if little johnny is caught with a fistful of oxy 80's. At least, no parent I know of would be influenced by this....if they were against marijuana before this memo, chances are, their views aren't going to change because of it.

Wisconsin has a medical marijuana bill being introduced right now that needs more co-sponsors. I sure hope we get medical marijuana this year in our state. Like you guys are saying, med bills should be a lot easier to pass for any representatives sitting on the fence over this issue.
