|  NH: NH supporters of medical marijuana make final plea NH supporters of medical marijuana make final plea 10/27/09 | Boston Herald | Associated Press CONCORD, N.H. — Supporters of allowing severely ill people to use marijuana in New Hampshire are making one last plea to lawmakers before they vote on whether to override Gov. John Lynch’s veto of a legalization bill. The New Hampshire Coalition for Common Sense Marijuana Policy is running half-page ads in several newspapers on Tuesday urging lawmakers to support the override on Wednesday. The bill’s sponsor and several cancer survivors also are holding a news conference Tuesday morning. If the veto is overridden, the bill would establish three nonprofit "compassion centers" to dispense 2 ounces of marijuana every 10 days to severely ill patients whose doctors approve the drug’s use. In his veto message last spring, Lynch cited concerns over distribution and cultivation.
