It would be perfect i suppose if no one drove under the influence, then they couldn't blame anyone but themselves, but people would still get into accidents. I believe that if you choose to drive under the influence, you should take responsibilty for that choice, but a law for DUI on marijuana or caffiene would be not only impossible to enforce, but redundant.

Yeah, you're probably right Stew, I used to drive high all the time too, in fact, it was almost the only time I smoked (because of parents, law, etc etc...). It was like the safe place to be when getting high, but I came to my senses and realized that by being under the influence while driving, I was increasing my chances of being in an accident (eventhough, as you put it, I drove as responsibly as possible), so I decided to stop and I now toke only when I have my feet on the ground (or on the sofa ).That's the conlcusion I came to, I prefer not to elevate my chances of getting hurt by toking responsibly. I wish everyone came to the same conclusion instead of simply relying on "knocking on wood" ![]() But hey, to each their own (but if you agree with this then you'd leave the high for another time, not while driving, you may be putting someone else's life at risk). Peace.7LPS: I do agree with the sobriety test, it is better to evaluate someone to see if they can drive than to test them for how much substance you have in your body, this last is not accurate and not the same with everyone.

I don't know exactly what it does Fresh, but I do know that many people benefit from using MJ to help their soar joints, but this, again, is more of a therapeutic use, not an enhancer. You suffer from pain, you relieve it by smoking, you don't smoke bofore doing exercise and find yourself able to do more things do you? Peace.7L

I agree with the useage of MJ for the releif of joint pain due to arthritis - it does seem to help. On another note I find that I can get into troubleshooting and technical repair when I am slightly baked. HVAC I also would like to state that I enjoy corresponding with you people - so far its been alot of fun ![]()

I find the fact that anyone would agree with police pulling people over without cause and swabbing their mouths extremely disturbing. How about we let the police pull people over at will and check their pockets for other people's property, just in case the thieves are out driving? Might recover some stolen property that way, and jail a few thieves. Let's have the police pull people over and take blood samples from them to see if they match the DNA or rapists or murderers. I'm sure we'd catch a handful, and then wouldn't we all be safer? Let's just let the police search anyone, anywhere, anytime and then we can all sleep safely. ![]() Or . . . maybe the police can just stick to pulling over people who are driving irregularly, and test them. That way people don't have to live under the police state and have our bodies searched against our will. -HH

That's a clear violation of anyone's rights. If I am driving badly, then you do have the duty to pull me over and ask me for my papers, do a sobriety test if the case merits it, etc. but not simply at random. Doing things randomly will only get people in trouble, and the police and whoever made that stupid law up may be missing the fact that maybe the persons that didn't have the tests performed on them might be... oh I don't know... THE dealers/users/murderers/etc. Really, is this justified? Peace.7L
