Smokin, read again, you'll see why I didn't mention anything about it...

Quote:
Gray said he first decided to campaign against what he calls the nation's "failed" drug war after an incident in his courtroom reminded him of how money and manpower spent on fighting illegal drugs could be better spent on violent crime. A 17-year-old who robbed and beat prostitutes emitted a whoop of celebration when Gray - going along with the terms of a plea bargain approved by another judge - sentenced him to jail for just a few more weeks than the defendant already had served while awaiting trial.
You see, gray went "along with the terms of a plea bargain", he didn't decide on it himself (at least that's what this article makes us [me] believe). Besides, at first it says "Gray said he first decided to campaign against what he calls the nation's "failed" drug war after an incident in his courtroom reminded him of how money and manpower spent on fighting illegal drugs could be better spent on violent crime", as in "a 17-year-old who robbed and beat prostitutes", this is exactly what made him act they way he is acting now, you and him have the same thoughts Smokin.

Cool Nothin special

"End the war on marijuana. We should be treating this substance in precisely the same way as we handle alcohol."
I have been sayin this for decades, my doctor, after I got busted by my job for having traces from the weekend in my system, had a minor injury, mandatory drug test, said " I would rather see you smoke this than drink alcohol." Man that was nice to hear from a professional, anyway he procedded to pencil whip my drug rehab school and signed off it as complete. Very happy camper!

Default It Would Be Nice

Gary Nolan (L) is also running for President this year, as is Dennis Kucinich (D).

I talk too a lot of people all the time. I live in a conservative city where most the people are 10yrs behind the times and still think Marijuana causes reefer madness like effects ~sighs~. Born again Christians which are growing in vast numbers because of Mel Gibsons stupid movie(and the present holy war in Iraq), are the ones who vote. They are steadfast voters who want republicans in office because they believe with all their heart and soul that republicans are good christian people ~laughs his ass off~. Regardless of what I, or you think and know it has no bearing on the blind faith of the conservative party.

If you have followed the last few election primaries all candidates are forced into Democrat or Republican tickets. You see the Republicans and Democrats have been players for so long they will do anything to keep any new party for the people out of the limelight. It amazes me the average person's short sightedness and inability to remember the scandals of a week ago. It's quite ironic when you consider the origin of the democratic party and how they no longer are for the people.
