I almost forgot that. If I were there I would have mentioned Savitex, the nebulizer they are working on, the fact that you can eat it, and drink it as a tea...she would have been put in her sweet little place, that's for sure.

Ed Rosenthal would be a good candidate, but I would rather have a panel of people like him, Jack Herer, Jason King, Steve Kubby, and probably an elderly person, a mother who's child takes it, and some other people.

You know what though, I would challenge anyone to that, it's like trying to argue that 2+2=3 and you know the other side just can't prove that

Wow! That Montel show was awesome! Way to go Montel!!

My only complaint was that it wasn't 2 hours! They definitely could have covered a lot more and I don't think all of the guests that were introduced even got to speak.

Montel did get in Andrea Barthwell's face and that other old guy that said he was an alcoholic for 25 years. He kept saying he could feel Montel's pain! Ya, whatever!

I was very impressed with that show and I give kudos to Montel. It's about time somebody did that and let the public know on national tv what the government is doing to people. Hopefully that show will open a lot of eyes.

I don't agree with changing it to a schedule 2 drug, but it would be a start. I hope more talk show hosts jump on the bandwagon and start inviting medical Marijuana users on their shows to talk about how Marijuana helps them and really get the awareness out there.

If anyone missed the show, I wouldn't be surprised if they have it at Pot TV soon. It was well worth the watch.

I just got to see the show! He was brilliant! GREAT JOB MONTEL! Very PASSIONATE about the subject, I agree alot more could've been covered, but it's a serious start to liberation, better than Ive seen ANY talk show host EXPOSE and head to head , PATIENTS and republicans . He made them eat *** I lUVED IT! What if OPRAH WOULD HAVE DONE A SHOW LIKE THIS. .... that would be great also... alot of people worship her! But she probably would never do it..

I was thinking about that too, tintila. Oprah seems like such a compassionate woman and her shows are very compassionate, so I'm surprised she hasn't done anything on medical Marijuana. I am wondering though, or maybe wishing, that she will invite Montel to appear on her show and talk about it after this.
Now that Montel has broken the ice, maybe others will follow. You know the movie "Field of Dreams" when Kevin Costner hears the voice telling him, "If you build it, they will come"? I hear a voice that says, "If you educate with the truth, people will believe." People are already believing, but we've had such a hard fight against the mainstream media to do the educating, that it has been a very slow process.

There will always be those that won't believe, or refuse to believe, but I think the majority will once it does get out there in mainstream media, and this Montel episode is hopefully the beginning of more widespread educating.

In my heart, I know that the majority of people will believe when they learn more and learn the truth about Marijuana. I wonder how many people watched that Montel show and said, "Wow, I had no idea!" For some people, it may just stick in their minds, but for some, they will want to know more and may do their own research. If they do, I hope they come to Marijuana.com for their answers and not some government run website full of lies.

I couldn't believe the woman said they needed 15 years more research.And she never did give a satisfactory answer to the question....if the govt thinks and believes that cannabis is so bad and a schedule 1 drug why do they deliver it so faithfully to 7 surviving people.And why are others not privvy to the same benefit?
The story of the little boy that ended up institutionalized really tore me up.The pain of that mother and that family ripped my heart out.Cannabis had worked so well for him and take it away and what ya got? A lot of pain and heartache and a little kid institutionalized and for what? Federal ignorance and prejudice.Don't let the politicians do this to us! They aren't doctors!

I don't see how that man and that woman could sit there and debate seriously against cannabis and think what they were saying made any sense at all.It didn't to me.We've all heard that tripe so so many times before like a broken record they sing.
They want 15 more years! Can you believe that?! Of course we can but we sure aint gonna give it to them.Not without one helluva fight.Research all the hell ya want but leave the states alone to make their own decisions cuz we not all as dumb as the feds.
They don't seem to care that cannabis works in so many instances and works so well! With so very few side effects! I mean did ya hear that list of meds that mother read off that her little boy had to take? And that one dr. has the arrogance and nerve to tell her he understands and that he knows there is mediations out there that would help her son.Right doctor! but the feds shut the producers down!If there was something better why is the kid institutionalized? You @#$*&%

Is willow bark illegal? I wouldnt think so. This nonsense of "crude Marijuana", and "we extract the active ingredient", and "removing side effects" is starting to bother me more than a bit. Removing side effects? What munchies? Bloodshot eyes? Drowsiness?

Oh well, this has been said before, but making Marijuana illegal in favor of a Marijuana "pill", or "suppository"(fun!), is kinda like making oranges illegal because we have vitamin C pills. And I wonder what Ms. Barthwell's stance is on cannabis in cooking, it is an herb after all.

The DEA is obviously owned by Big Pharm, and what is this deputy drug czar nonsense anyhow, is walters to busy to show his fat lying head on tv?

I missed the Montel show, , does anybody have a transcript of it? Or a link to a transcript?
