| From what I understand, this Supreme Court is generally against federalism actions, which generally means federal powers working on matters than can be competently handled on a state level. I have faith in this court, even if they did elect Bush.

| This is probably the most important medical marijuana court case in the history of the US. If the Supreme Court rules in our favor, then the Feds will NOT be allowed to persecute individuals for growing marijuana for personal use, if they have a medical excuse and they live in a medical marijuana state. This will make it safe for Oregonians to register with the state's medical marijuana program without fear of retaliation. This will allow the people of San Francisco who need medical marijuana to grow up to 144 plants without fear of arrest by the Feds. If the Supreme Court rules against us, expect more raids shortly thereafter. However, if Bush loses the election, there is still hope that Kerry will stop the raids even if we lose in the Supreme Court. Kerry knows that the vast majority of Democrats support medical marijuana. Overall, this an extremely important case, and will tell us whether the Supreme Court cares more about justice or oppression. Liberty4All |

| Excellent, we have a date now. November will certainly be a exciting month. And not to nitpick, but its nice to see it refered to as "medical cannabis" and not "medical marijuana" At any rate, everyone keep your ears perked up, and spread the word!
