I've always found the amount power wielded by a relative handful unsettling and mentioned it in a few threads before. AOL/Time Warner has an INCREDIBLY broad reach; so does Viacom and a few others.

That's why I find it so amusing when people complain about Sinclair Broadcasting or even Clear Channel.........they are small-time compared to some of these people.

If there is an anti-Christ, he should start his takeover by becoming president of AOL/Time-Warner......

You've forgotten someone, your state house rep. If we, as a community, manage to get enough of the house reps informed on this and our displeaser, it may consitute an ethics violation on the part of the ONDCP and/or the Bush Admin (but I am sure republicans will find a way to weasle out ol'Bushy if they need to (see it's semi-spin ).

If the violation is looked into, as it is suppose to according to the former ethics rules (which I believe have not yet changed), then a possible criminal investigation may follow for illegally funding these efforts of non-cleared propaganda.

So my advice would be to contact your reps. and inform them of your displeasure, remember these reps are there to work for you, not against you!


Sorry about that rant, I thought thought I would post my understanding of getting something to happen with this. (Again this may be outdated and unusable- but no one has corrected me thus far on this advice).

Regrettably it is the nature of Business to be corrupt -- whichis why we need all these laws...and politicians ...and lawyers...and...well...you can see where this all goes...basically an ever expanding spiral that would make the late Carl Sagan blush at it's multitudinousity...billions and billions

And it is even worse when polticians and lawyers are trained for or come from the business world, where they are already corrupt which makes them corrupt.

This is exactly why we need to raise our politicians geneticly out in some lab and isolate them into communities where they are only taught things by the political parties for their entire lives. Then we will have the super politicans!

Sorry about that, I just thought I would throw some humor in amoungst all of the arguing and anger. You know just to lighten our moods abit.


And remember folks; only you can write to your congressmen/women and demand change (or you could find some obsecure law that would allow you to kick themout of office, just like Cali. did).
