| High Drama Ken Neuhauser | The Courier-Journal | 07/28/2005 Louisvillian Brian Walker's political and social satire, "Smoke This Play," opens tonight at Actors Theatre of Louisville. It was written and directed by Walker. The play, which takes place in 2012, focuses on the legalization of marijuana and myths surrounding it. It will be presented by Walker's Finnigan Productions at 8 p.m. today through Saturday and Aug. 4-6 in the Bingham Theatre. By the way, "Smoke This Play" is not recommended for people with extreme emphysema or those sensitive to smoke, because actual smoke (not pot) will waft through the air during each performance. This promises to be a unique and somewhat controversial play. Walker's press release and Web site make this disclaimer: " 'Smoke This Play' is a production advocating the use of marijuana for medicinal and recreational purposes in a safe and controlled environment by adults. The producers do not advocate the use of marijuana by minors and do not recommend the production to anyone under the age of 18."
