Last winter I found a camera phone that had pics of weed on it. I got it back to the guy by making a few phone calls from his phone book. No need to involve the police.

No, not a very bright person would take pictures of crimes hes committing. With the availability of cellphone-cameras however, one could easily make the mistake, of making the assumption it was never going to fall into the hands of the police.

The thing is the cops didn't find the cell phone, someone else did and turned it over to the police, either to have them track down the owner or because of the pictures or both but it's possible whoever turned the phone in never saw the photos. It just said the cops found the pictures in it. I still agree though, how often does somethin like that happen? That's just badluck!

If i found the phone i would have probably just kept it and waited for whoever owns it to call, but if i searched through it and found the pictures of pot and money and ended up returning the phone i would probably just tell them that it's not a good idea to put pics like that in there incase someone with a badge got a hold of it. Some people see it a little different though and feel that anyone who has pot deserves to get arrested

I don't think the guy should go to prison. It would be cruel to send a RETARD to jail. Isn't there some kind of home that looks after brain dead people like him?
