Mighty thin-skinned aren't you? I've sat here and borne your personal attacks with good humor while you're having a tough time simply because I've pointed out the errors in your logic and constant reliance on opinion instead of evidence and logic.

And your sense of humour is second-rate at best.
Maybe so. Yours, apparently, is non-existent.

But maybe also the dozens of things I've pointed out that Marc and his associates have done. You've completely pushed them aside in your attempt to discredit them. These actions are where my problem lies.
I don't value all of the same things you value. My opinions are different from yours. That's a problem? Mea culpa!

Quote:
That's my problem, you have no rational arguments. The only thing that you were arguing is that he should go to jail and not pass go.
Thousands of words and that's all you've picked up? You are obviously not paying attention.

Nothing but counter my statements? Don't kid yourself Buzzby, you've continuely pushed for my reactions. Then you have the audacity to say your simply debating me.
When you're up against real prohibitionists do you think they'll be concerned about your feelings? No. They'll be trying to get you mad so you'll be sloppy and illogical. That's part of the technique of debate.

How does that personally insult you? Did I say you were a pathetic young fool? No. I made a reductio ad absurdum argument to counter your proposition that any decent person will fly to the aid of any cannabis user who has been arrested. I was assaulting your logic, which is what one does in a debate.

Just because my body and mind have not deteriorated with age, does not mean I haven't.
Then what part of you has deteriorated with age?

Quote:
Of course I've called you old a lot, because you're increasingly acting like an ignorant old man, disrespectful of any of the inferior younger people around him.
And here I thought you had lowered yourself to ageism and personal insult (not very well done, BTW) because you'd run out of anything intelligent to say.

Quote:
And you're continuance in this mission to degrade myself, Marc Emery and his supporters is worthy of my disrespect.
When I find myself disrespected by people like you I know I must be doing something right.

hhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa It is like a soap in here.

B.C.Buddy i think that you need to understand that not all of us are for Emery. I personaly think he got what he what he was looking for, arrest.
You sell millons of dollars of seeds to overgrow the goverment. You make it public. You tell your goverment your doing this and put it in you tax forms.
And you sell seeds to the US that has no tolerance for it ( this is the same country that bombed the **** out of other country for no reason). To you this might seem like a smart thing to do, to me it's an act of stupidty.

Which brings me to my next point. I would never want someone, anyone, Emery or not that is that stupid to ever lead the movement for legalizing marijuana. You and I have talked about this.

Also why would i ever feel sorry for or want to help someone that stupid. Just like i don't feel sorry for or want to help the stupid idiot, that this thread is about.

Well, this is what I deal with. I come on here to debate opinions, and I have to debate reasoned logic. Buzzby wants documented proof of every individual facet of every individual opinion. It's really quite frustrating, yet I still get criticized about being 'emotional'. Buzzby straight up insults me and a whole slew of others, then backs away when confronted and hides behind a pathetic veil of 'logic', it's pathetic.

I have to say, I used to respect his approach, now I find it to be extremely arrogant.

YOU CANNOT debate an opinion. An opinion is a fine thing to have, but it can be neither proven or disproven. therefore, debating an opinion against fact simply won't work, as you cannot "prove" an opinion. this has been pointed out to you several times, but you just don't get it. Arguing emotion against logic is impossible, and only makes YOU look foolish.

EDIT: I was going to argue back, but it seems as though I am outnumbered.

I am essentially giving up, you won; all of you.

Et Voila. The magic of logic, you just can't win Seriously man, I don't know how much more anyone can make this clear: you cannot argue opinion.

Imagine sitting around and trying to argue which color is better: black or red.

Do you see what I'm getting at? There's no possible way to argue that, logically, to prove a point. We could pull up numbers and stats about what color is bought the most and take a global survey, but then we are getting into statistical logic, which really isn't "factual" either.

Maybe that comparison will make sense, because it does to me. We can, however, argue things like did Emery break the law. See, that's something you can argue because there's evidence involved, not just some opinion.

Red face What the???

I don't remember anyone ever saying that he didn't break the law?..
considering that he likens himself to Gandhi and Nelson Mandela or Martin Luther King... or Malcolm X if you prefer..

Did those activists also break laws?
Gandhi did.. on several occasions.. served time in jail for it too. Eventually the people won. I think Emery is more than aware that he'll go to Jail.. will his sacrifice make any difference depends on the rest of us. You gotta think... how many people can the U.S arrest before they give up???
They're already arresting 800,000 people a year for minor pot possession charges.. Would they really be able to arrest a collective gathering of all the pot smokers in the country? What's that, 14 to 15 million users..???

Where would they put them all?? The jails are overcrowded as is. how many people in law enforcement right now??
