| Police: Teen Shot Trying To Buy Marijuana Jacob H. Fries | St. Petersburg Times | 09/17/2005 LARGO - Detectives released on Friday a photograph of a 19-year-old Largo man who they say shot a teenager Monday during a drug deal. The suspect, identified as Jason Christopher Daiuto of 2822 Green Acres Ave., remained on the loose. Police have obtained an arrest warrant charging him with aggravated battery and attempted armed robbery. The 17-year-old victim, whose name was not made public, was treated at Morton Plant Hospital for a bullet wound to his left leg and later released, police said. According to investigators, the victim met Daiuto outside a quadruplex on 141 Fulton St. NE about 4:45 p.m. Monday to buy marijuana. An acquaintance of the victim had arranged the meeting. Rather than sell the illegal drug, Daiuto pulled a gun and demanded the victim's money, said Largo police Detective Keith Barton. The victim said he had left his cash in the car. "I'm going to count to three and I'm going to shoot," said Daiuto, according to Barton. When the victim again insisted he had no money, Daiuto shot him once in the leg, Barton said. Daiuto, whose juvenile record includes charges of grand theft and burglary, then ran away, the detective said. The victim limped to his car, where two friends were waiting nearby, and was taken to the hospital. Daiuto is a white man, 5 feet 8, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Largo police at 587-6730.

| the war on drugs, started by the usa, forced by them into the un and forced on the world by the un does have open wars, Colombia comes to mind (its not all cocaine there, they do grow cannabis) people are killed ocaisonnaly in the usa by police doing no knock raids for cannabis warrants, people like Peter McWilliams have died because the feds denied them their medical cannabis (he chocked on vomit, cannabis settled his stomach) the Phillippines adopted the war on drugs after the usa pressured them, they execute people for marijuana and have death squads that are "tolerated" by the govt. that go around killing cannabis dealers and users, us officials kill cannabis users/growers/sellers, perhaps not every day, but they do this and we read articles about it here, when one counts the collateral damage done by the war on drugs the usa started and pushed on the world usa actions are leading to death every day. if cannabis were legal for all people 16 and over, like the canadian govts own special pannel on cannabis legalization recommended a few years ago (as well as France drug legalization advocated) this teenager would have been buying his cannabis in a store, not on the street from a shady character that shot him. more collateral damage caused by usa govt. policy. |

| "People die all the time, but why? Because the Laws in the USA are Enforced and Controlled by the Supreme Court. I think that more people are killed in car accidents! That Is My Only Thought! GM" you have it in a nutshell, people die because lawmakers passed drug laws which take freedom away from folks, create a whole category of criminal out of people who do not harm others, and seek, with the aid of propaganda, to instill the idea in others that these people are "baddies" and a good scapegoat because they "do drugs", the problem is furtherd by a supreme court that refuses to instanty end the federal war on drugs based on its unconstitutionality (thats why alcohol prohibition involved AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION) and state legislatures/judges who refuse to respect the natural rights of their citizens and legalize drugs. More people may die each day in car accidents than are killed directly and indirectly by cannabis prohibition, but each one of these deaths from cannabis prohibition is a death that results from a policy of "othering" drug users (turning them into the convienent scapegoat for all the ills in the world with the aid of propaganda). Therefore each one of these deaths results from a policy based on lies used to create a false scapegoat, a false "baddie" if you will, for the govts. of the world to point their finger at, put in jail, kill, beat, etc. The express goal of cannabis prohibiton is to make the cannabis plant extinct, and to rid the world of cannabis users. This does not mean that they necessarily want to kill us for smoking, but seeing as they see us as less than human our deaths can be chalked up to "unfortunate collateral damage" if we are accidently killed by a swat team or are executed in the Philippines. |
