I know this thread is old but, I was doing reseach on this case and stumbled apon this thread, I have to say that I am closely attached to this case and there are alot of underlying factors and misconceptions with this case. To point out a few, the defendant was running from shots fired by the police prior to entering the buildging in a seperate incident and was hit by one of these bullets. He shot back after being hit and followed by the out of paranoia, not from being high as they would have you think, and ballistics has supported this, The man described as killed a month prior was the defendants brother and the police have consistently lied throughout the case. It still has not gone to trial because the prosecution knows the police have lied numerous times in their reports and the defenses legal team are ready to blow this case of police misconduct wide open. The police in newark, nj have repeatedly overcharged individuals, they feel like something has to stick whether guilty or not. The system in newark, is fucked up (to put it bluntly) and currently under investigation by the Dept of Justice for corrution. As far as the pot laced with "wet", it is embalming fluid, the main or original ingredient but it is cut at least ten times with different chemical substances that change the chemical make up and it becomes a psychotrophic drug, it is EXTREMELY common in NJ and NY and VERY popular with gang members that want to lose ever inhibition. To put it lightly it intesifies your pot high (at least the version on the streets here). They wanted to make the point that the defendant was a dangerously high maniac, when in fact he shot back in self defense thinking that the police were going to murder him the way they did his brother. Seth Boyden is one of the most dangerous projects and it is also called the forgotten lands, they dont care about the people down there so they send the disgraced officers down there as punishment, the people have to protect themselves from the police as sad as it may sound. I know, I did an ivestigation down there and cited 83 procedural infractions by police officers in 3 DAYS, need I say more. Once again they want to blame drugs for the misconduct of others, when the real issue is alot deeper then that. Stay tuned this case should be back in the papers VERY soon.
