| You're right.....they're not going to let him die....at least not on their watch. There could be a silver lining to this. He could get some serious high quality medical care at taxpayers expense. Things have changed since he was last diagnosed in the 80's. |

| they won't let him die, just like they woudn't let Jonathan Magbie die... Or Peter McWilliams... Oh, wait! Besides, I don't see how prison could possibly have better medical care than a) one of the best public heath care systems in the world, that is b) supplemented by his own horticultural endeavours! It's not like they care about him, personally. (If they did, why are they wrenching him from his chosen home, over a misdemeanor?)

| The Canadian health care system is on the verge of collapse. Socialized medicine just means everyone gets mediocre service. The Canadian authorities have decided the man needs to face justice. By the way, has he even tried Marinol? |

| I still don't understand why you think being dragged before corrupt law enforcement can be termed "facing justice"! How can any imposition of any sentence stemming from this corrupt, wasteful, and stupid war be termed "justice?"... especially by a person who has broken that law himself. |

Who broke the law? I've never been busted for shroomy's or button's, so what does that have to do with the conversation..... Ded ![]()

Killer you have consistantly ignored the evidence posted and the history of Steve Kubby. He has been seeing doctors in Canada since his arrival. Try reading the letter from DR. Conners. http://www.kubby.com/Dr.Connors.Letter.pdf All other medical options available have been exhausted. No one on this forum has presented evidence to refute the doctors who have examined him. So you state generalities and resort to childish humor. And any of you who think that the U.S. justice system is not corrupt and in need of major overhaul is looking through rose colored glasses. If they put Steve Kubby in jail without access to Medical Marijuana he will die. Now show me some evidence that he won't. | |

| I said the entire law, and its enforcement. Drug prohibition is corrupt, and those who prosecute otherwise innocent people with these laws are likewise corrupt. That is in addition to the blatant dishonesty on the part of placer county officials... though what hope do we have of bringing it to light, when even activists on this site refuse to recognize it? |

| You're painting with a pretty broad brush when you say everyone that is enforcing the drug laws is corrupt. The police, DA's, and the judges are just doing their job, enforcing the law of the land. Steve Kubby had his day in court and it didn't turn out the way he would have liked it to. To bad, so sad. There are alot of criminals in jail who aren't happy with their convictions. Tookie Williams was unhappy with his conviction. There are alot of people out in this world who thought Tookie should have been freed and that his conviction was corrupt. They were wrong and so are you. At least Tookie went through with the appeal process and which means he was more of a man than Steve Kubby. Oh and by the way....Tookie got what was coming to him. Justice served....next. Tookie learned the hard way that taking drugs can kill you. |
