If there is anything I can do, just let me know. I'm still stumbling around the house saying "They closed my site! How could this happen?" This site has meant a lot to me these last few years. I'm going to miss the boards and my friends.

And I won't give up, there has to be a resource somewhere. Can information truly be illegal?

All the best,
Mary

I had joined the marijuanacultivation forums only two days prior to being shut down, but still want to thank those who operated it. It was a great source of ideas if even for a short idea.

These events are very unfortunate, but lets take this as a sign to unite and stand up for what we believe. I know that I've been inspired.

Where I live, a group of friends and I have already started a door to door campaign to get a common sense view to marijuana use and law reform to people who would otherwise never consider the subject. We have gotten mixed feedback. Fortunately, 90% of it was positive and intelligent. You see, most people believe that responsible adults should have the right to ingest what they will and there shouldn't be restrictions on knowledge, regardless of the content.

We're not done yet and I certainly hope you guys haven't given up before you started.

You guys have my respect, the more people that get involved, the sooner all this BS will be over with. Where are you guys operating? I'm sure there are some people on the board that live near you and would like to join.

We're just outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin. I'm originally from Milwaukee and am starting to work with some people down there to do the same thing. We haven't contacted NORML yet, but hopefully will get involved with them soon.

Wow, definably some sad news.

We are at a hard time, especially here in Canada, with out new government which I am not very proud of. Actually, “not very proud of” would be an amazing improvement. Anyways, I understand that you (Rick) shut down hempcultivation.com because the Marijuana Grow Operations Team of the RCMP is taking action on Canadian based sites like the ones you mentioned, and arresting the Canadians running them, but marijuana.com and hemp cultivation are based out of Arizona, so why are you following suit?

I know it was for security and privacy reasons, but you have managed running hempcultivation.com under American law, and I was just wondering if you had more background information about what is happening, why, ect.

Best of Luck!

Thumbs up Thanks again Rick

It sounds a bit cheesey but words truly cannot express the gratitude that I have for all the excellent information and support that I have received from (and been able to re-transmit into) the HC community.

The facts are: you guys saved me from buying (crap) off the street and the dangers that go with that. You saved me from making pivotal mistakes on my very first attempt at cultivation (which resulted in several awards won across 2 websites and one magazine!). Those flowers where some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life - I was very, very proud of that accomplishment and I could not have done it without the support and advice I received from HC members, and "The Garden" that you created and nurtured so lovingly during all these years.

Now, as a final gesture of protection and concern for my safety (and everyone else's) you have closed the door to the garden and turned off the lights. Good call Rick - you made the best choice anyone could have made under these circumstances.

So, I hope Mama doesn't mind me stealing a for you, Jah knows you certainly deserve one (at least!) and here is a GIANT bear hug (even though I'm not a very big guy )

P.S. I cannot seem to find where I can change my title from "New member" to "HC.com survivor" (maybe I'm just too tired at the moment...)

Thumbs down Fuck the MAN!!!

Well, I Can't say I didnt see this comming. with all the drama with OG and all that, Sad it had to come to this. But, I thank you Rick and everyone at HC.com for everything you all did (and continue to do) for the community.

I look forward to the day when we can all meet up again, but in this political climate I think it's best to hunker down and ride out this storm.

All those of you that voted for bush.... Thanks alot! May your armpits be infested with the fleas of a million camels, and your arms to short to scratch.

For the rest of you, Keep the faith , and spread the word... Be fruitfull and Multiply! We shall overgrow!!

Bright Blessings,
St0ney
