| It is the right of every human being to learn whatever they want. They also have the right to look away, to not read it, to not learn it. Same thing applys to a radio station that you dont happen to agree with, just turn the station. its that simple. Or would you drop everything you were doin and call up each radio station you didn't like, everytime you disagreed with them. I'd rather change the station than bitch about it like a woman. Woman. lol

| well, revolutions have been started over things that violated peoples' rights less than this. Although I am too chicken shit to start the revolution, I can understand why the folks and the Rainbow Farm in Michigan shot at the cops, I can understand why the folks in Waco did, and I tend to think that the US govt. is out of bounds with most of its policies. |

| andy at niu: I have to support Buzzby on this one, what you are saying is stupid. If we start getting cops maimed or killed by IED's, we are screwed and if you are so naive as to believe differently, then you are welcome to your belief but Buzzby can do little else than point out the dangerously fallacious nature of your arguments lest other people think they are approved or correct and then do something stupid. I am not a law enforcement officer, my professional career choice was combat soldier, I am good at it, studied it assiduously. Any force- and I will digress a moment, the police are such a weaponed force, they are organized along military lines and havh much the same mission, to control a piece of ground and those upon it according to regulations and marching orders received from above. In this case, that above is formed of civilian politicians that we, the people, put in place. Any force will and must answer an escalation of violence with a greater and more efficient escalation of violence of their own. And our guys are VERY good at what they do, the violent part as well. The key lies in the chain of command, that is where you must change things to have any chance of a lasting peace for marijuana users of any stripe. Change the chain of command, change the orders that those DEA agents receive, and they lose all ability to do anything of such a nature. Kill a couple, and you will create a hydra whose name shall be repression. And, perhaps, the point can be argued among men and women of conscience, but for me no matter how much I want weed legalized, no matter how unjust and just plain unfair it is to steal my rights on such a felonius precept as morals or faleified dangers to me or society- I don't find it worth the death of a single person. To say nothing of the law of unintended consequences. Cool your jets and think, just think, how you react if someone attacks you... The reread your post. In friendliness. Kelly.

| Uh, violence backfires, Andy. Shoot them on videotape and let them shoot themselves in the foot when you catch them lying about it later. |

| Cop is a job- Human is a state of being. I'm kinda partial to humans.... It is difficult to release anger, isn't it? Anger feels good to hold. But you do yourself a disservice in gripping it so tightly. If you examine the method used to capture Gorill's, you will, perhaps, learn something. To catch a gorilla, the hunter finds a tree with a hole in it, one just large enough to accept the flat hand of the gorilla, but will not later let the fist pass back through. A banana is laid into the hole then the hunter goes off and waits. See, a gorilla won't open it's fist as long as it is gripping the banana, it is caught by it's own inabilty to let go. I once used to think JUST like you- I thank the gods I was able to examine my reasoning critically and honestly, because I did not go to a university for the largest part of my education- My education consisted of weapons, how to use them efficiently, how to be violent at will. Lose your need to be proven right and consider what you are saying, use logic, extrapolate from that moment of that first blast, what would happen afterwards, what? Be fair enough to be honest, no one grows up without getting some idea of how people will react to a certain situation, what would happen? Would they back off and just let a certain group of people kill another group of people? Do you really believe that? Or do you simnply wish the war itself, because chaos fels good? It feels better than impotence and it is instantly gratifying. Voting takes time... Is that it, cop hater? |
