Four Pounds of Marijuana Found in High School Student's Locker

FORT WAYNE, Ind. Police acting on a tip confiscated nearly four pounds of marijuana from a Fort Wayne high school student's locker.

The 16-year-old male student faces felony possession of marijuana and possible expulsion after police found the drug wrapped in five reclosable bags in his locker at the Ward Education Center last week.

Authorities say it's the largest amount of marijuana found in a school that they can remember.

Police valued the drug at an estimated ten-thousand-dollars. A police report said the locker had a "strong odor of marijuana."

The student was taken to the Allen County Juvenile Center.

I'm from Ft. Wayne and i'm new to these forums. I have never understood why people would bring their marijuana to school with them...doesn't make any sense. I remember so many people back in highschool getting busted with shit in their lockers...keep it at home or find some other hiding spot.

I'd love to know how he got 4 pounds into school and into his locker without anyone else noticing.

Worst part about this.... if this dude had it on front/part of it on front hes gonna owe his supplier mad $$ and im guessing since he didnt sell the shit he is broke and when he gets out of jail he may be in for even a bigger mess.

Tbh if your dumb enough to bring that much weed into ur locker, then u bring that shit on urself.

At our school we have monthly drug dog searches that go in all the parking lots / around all lockers.... we arent notifed when this happens. Thats why whenever I did bring stuf on me to school I always had it on me double wrapped so they couldnt find it in my locker/car cuz thats all they search. U rarely get searched besides if they found stuff in ur locker etc. The first semester I never had less then an eighth/bowl/lighters in my bottom pocket. One day I didnt have time to quad wrap ( i always do if i go to school with dank) and I went to school and I friggin reaked. As soon as I got out of that period I went back to my car and parked it in another parking lot with my weed in it.
