Pot seized by authorities, stolen back

NOVATO, Calif. As many as 12-hundred marijuana plants cut down by narcotics agents yesterday on Mount Tamalpais in Marin County have been stolen back -- possibly by the same people who were growing them illegally.
The stolen haul was part of 20-thosuand plants discovered at several Marin County pot gardens earlier in the week, valued at roughly three (m) million dollars.

County officials say that some of the marijuana was stolen back later that same Friday, possibly by the illicit growers.

The bust sites and plants were being guarded by law enforcement overnight, but because individual gardens were scattered over remote locations, some areas were left unattended at times.

That is funny. That happened up here once. The State Police put about 100 lbs. of plants in a garage next to the cop shop and left the overhead door open. The next morning it was gone. The local papers had a field day with that one.

they could have been bribed, or simply "cohearsed" if this was a garden of an organzied crime syndicate.

Answer... the DEA boys hid in the bushes up on Mt. Tam and stole the pot for thier own uses...

this is ongoing since Vietnam war and beyond, the military/govt. uses drug money to fund operations... there isn't anything new about it.

Well,another raid more medicine destroyed,and another waste of time and good reefer,this drug war thing has got to stop,they lost this so called war a long time ago,they should wake up and do the peoples will,we have passed laws so Ill people can use it,but the Feds have the gall to trump our state laws?Bull,the whole thing stinks,they havent outlawed the lottery,it was supposed to help build and restore schools,so,where's the money,where's the improvement?Someone is getting awful rich,but gambeling is ok now,what can it hurt?Gambling is just as bad as alcohol in my opinion,either one will kill you sooner or later.Amsterdam is still there,there are'nt as many coffee shops as there used to be,alot of them have moved closer to the borders,and outlaying towns,it was triped to see the changes,the changes are mostly due in part to american biker gangs vying for control of the drug trade,leave it up to a few to mess it up for the masses,hopefully but not realistically they will go away and find another world to mess up,I dont know why they dont throw them out.
