| Even Anti-Meth Activists Oppose the Drug War 7-6-'07 | StoptheDrugWar.org | by Scott Morgan Tom Siebel is a multimillionaire philanthropist who funded terrifying anti-meth ads in Montana. [Seen below. -Hash] His work has been praised by ONDCP, but now he's speaking out against the drug war. The nation's drug policy "is a little bit crazy," Montana Meth Project founder Tom Siebel said Thursday.Tom Siebel absolutely hates meth, and yet he also opposes the drug war. How can this be? Maybe his aggressive anti-meth ads are actually some sort of drug legalization conspiracy, because everyone knows that only "pro-drug groups" would ever criticize the wisdom of trying to arrest our way out of the drug problem. Of course, Tom Siebel's work and his words demonstrate that people who care about victims of drug addiction can simultaneously oppose drug abuse while advocating commonsense policies that emphasize public health and reject mass incarceration. Having previously heaped praise upon Tom Siebel, will ONDCP now accuse him of being "pro-drug"? Regardless, it is becoming increasingly obvious that ONDCP couldn't alienate anti-drug activists, the U.S. Congress, and the academic community any faster if they were actually doing speed themselves. | Sorry if this is too off topic. I'm just wondering why after almost 3000 question's posed on UTube, CNN chose not to even ask one medical marijuana question for the democrats. When they'll be the one's in power next and they're most likely to do anything to fix the fiasco, cause they can actually think outside the result's and admit the fact's. There must have been some great intelligent question's on the prohibition off medicinal marijuana, but I guess CNN's drug sponsors just may have had a hand. Maybe when the republican UTube debate is on they'll ask those lettuce heads the devil weed question's, that'd be so worth it, they would come around and think out of the box for once forsure. ![]() |

| "Don't legalize it because its safe, legalize it because its dangerous" I was watching a video somebody had posted in the 420 lounge (here is the thread) I agree with the above statement but he was talking about marijuana. The only dangers I see in marijuana is the black market aspect of it and laced weed. Both would be completely swiped away with the legalization of marijuana. |

| Given everything he said about marijuana in the video (that coment was at the end), I don't think he meant it quite how it sounded. I think he meant it more to get the point across that substances like marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco are better controled when they are legal. |
