I think thats exactly what Jake was saying....first go with mmj, then total legalization, and then, sometime down the road....far after marijuana has already been legalized....that he would support legalizing other drugs. He wasn't saying outright legalization is what we should be should be pushing for NOW....just that he'd support it eventually at some point after weed has been legalized.

unknown- Gun control theory: Those who are willing to ignore the law and rights of others i.e. murder, robery, rape etc will obey a law which prohibits the possesion of a firearm.

I'll let you guys work on that. By then, we will have populated the galaxy and I'm sure one of the planets within the Federation will be more than willing to entertain your idea of total drug legalization.

This "outlandish" idea isn't outlandish when you consider that it was the case for 99% of human history. Modern prohibition has only been with us for about 125 years, with the Opium shit in the 1880s starting it all. History repeats itself....it does seem impossible and crazy, never-gonna-happen in today's culture, but after marijuana is legalized, people will probably start drawing conclusions about all of prohibition...

Prohibition is a blip on history's radar...

People were stupid back then. Freud thought cocaine was a wonder drug until he realized it was extremely addictive. Totally ruined his perspective on the drug. What people did in the past has no bearing on what happens now. People thought the earth was flat also. Realize that our ancestors weren't that intelligent when it comes to some things.
