I think its called a dialect. If the author had written it meaning wise, instead of sound wise, you wouldn't get the actual impression these people would make on you as if you were talking to them yourself. Ya dig?

And it wasn't really used in a mocking sense ( I think it rarely is ), shit , is anyone taking this article actually seriously? It's obvious 'journalism' meant for mere stoner entertainment or a chuckle/smirk.

Still, pretty cool read.

Ah dunno. When ya write dialogue the way people akchurly talk, it kinda makes it seem more natchral.

Patois is fucking impossible to decipher. My buddy has been going to Jamaica for 18 years now, where his mom is from, and he is quite good at understanding and talking patois. They are usually quite surprised to hear him jump in on a conversation between two of em.
