Do you? The THC isomer in Marinol doesn't come from a plant. It's synthesized in a laboratory. It's a variation on the THC molecule that can be detected separately from naturally occurring THC so a determination can be made (by GC/MS) if you're an evil pothead or a saintly sick person.

Since medical users generally aren't partying with their friends, I doubt if this is much of a consideration. My social use and medical use are too very different things. There's no more ceremony involved in medical use than there is in taking an aspirin.
