So im gonna make it into a funky bowl but i have two concerns?
One, the trumpet oil inside of it, i guess i could soak it in alcohol to get it out. Does anyone else have any other ideas?
Second, since its brass it would get very hot i assume, how could i avoid that or what could i put on it to protect my hands.
I'm gonna paint is, and make it look all trippy and I'm so excited for it! Anyone else have any ideas for it?

I just wanna know if the hose(s) are weak(cheap), if it's even worth the buy seeing as it's only under $10, and since what I plan on putting it in isn't as tall as the stem on it is, I want to cut the down stem so it fits.
