It's that time of year again....

2009 420 Lounge Fanatasy Football League

If you're interested I started a private league on CBS Sportsline. It's free, you just need to have an account. Once you get signed up, go to the free fantasy f-ball page, make a name for team. It will send you to a list of leagues.

You might need an invite, post here that you want one, and I will get it sent to you.

I'll donate 2,000 grams to the Winner!

Unless it's Pompo again.

I've never played any kind of fantasy sports leagues but I have always been interested in them. If you still need more players, I'm willing to give it a try. I do have to warn you that I know absolutely nothing about how it works except that it's has something to do with player stats. So you may have to hold my hand a bit at first.

It's super easy....

If you can be there on draft day to pick your players, or it will automatically pick best available based on last yr's stats. Takes maybe an hr or so.

You'll draft @ 14 players. You'll have a starting line-up of

1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 Kicker
1 Defense/special teams

with 5 reserve players.

You get points for the following

Offensive Statistic QB, WR, RB, TE, K

Passing, Rushing or Receiving Touchdown (PaTD, RuTD, ReTD) 6 points
Passing Yards(PaYD) 1 point for every 25 yards
Rushing Yards(RuYD) 1 point for every 10 yards
Receiving Yards(ReYD) 1 point for every 10 yards
2 point conversion(Pa2P, Ru2P, Re2P) 2 points
Passing Interception (PaInt) -2 points
Fumble Lost, including ST plays (FL) -2 points
Field Goal(FG) 0-49 yards = 3 points
50+ yards = 5 points
Extra Point(XP) 1 point
Offensive Fumble Recovery TD(OFRTD) 6 points

Defensive Statistic

Total Defensive/ Special Teams Touchdown (DTD) 6 points
Safety(STY) 2 points
Interception(Int) 2 points
Defensive/ST Fumble Recovered (DFR) 2 points
Sack(SACK) 1 point
Points Against, Total Points Scored (PA) 0-6 = 8 points
7-13 = 6 points
14-20 = 4 points
21-27 = 2 points
28+ = 0 points
Yards Allowed 0-49 = 12 points
50-99 = 10 points
100-149 = 8 points
150-199 = 6 points
200-249 = 4 points
250-299 = 2 points
300+ = 0 points

It's a head to head battle. Team with the most points gets a W

After the reg season ends, 3 division winners and 1 wild card team makes the playoffs.

All you got to do is, make sure you have a player worth a crap in every spot for every week. Meaning watch out for the bye weeks.
