Ahhh to be young and virile,with fire running through the veins like an erupting volcano!
There was a time..! Now I have to channel my testosterone with a much smaller sword,with the only threat to life or limb is running in to the coffee table in the dark,on my way to the fridge..I could get in to a virtual reality dueling simulator though.I bet that'd be a trip buzzed.b.s.

Do any of you remember the Nerf swords they made when you had to poke all of the spots near the handle to win?

They were some fun times. And I love playing swords and whn you get hit in the leg or arm, you can use it.

I always go for the knees and my friends are just on their knees and bang I take off their heads.

I remember being at the ripe age of nine and running with the other local scamps into the woods. We would build forts and grab pointy sticks, and the game was defend the home. We would beat each other vicious those days, someone always went home crying or bleeding but we all made up within an hour and were back at it again. Now we all use swords, real ones, and someone gets too tired to fight and admits defeat. But since we realise how dangerous that can be now we are going to switch to a new kind of sword, paintball. (starts a seperate thread on paintball)

YUCK. PAINTBALL=LAMEBALL. STick to the swords. I used to play games like that all the time. Defending attacks and attacking hoards of enemy. BTW has anyone ever read the Book Redwall, with those little mice that fight.

this is how me and my friends do it. You know those bamboo torches people put in there yards? well if you take off the can that holds the fuel to burn. You have perfcet sized pretend broad swords, that dont hurt that bad, well they do, but its tolerable. the game: start on oppsisite ends of back yard, charge at each other, 5 body hits allows you to win the round. so block block block, best of 3 to win... relaly fun. uusually ends up like beating on each others legs lol

My friends and I used to "joust"(ala Jackass) on bicycles with poles. That was fun.


Too grown for that kinda stuff now though.
