You people don't understand. QUAKE is THE best game of all time, it changed the fate of computer games! It took Wolfenstein and made it WAY more interactive WAY better and WAy more fun, and it remains , in my eyes, the best game for computers. Theres just something about it that seperates it from other games. Ofcourse i don't even play it single player, Online is the only way to go with quake, Quake Team Fortress, that is. Oh ya and playing stoned : its like your in another world

Oh man, so many favourites...

RPG: Fallout!! followed by both Diablos.
FPS: Tribes/T2, I honestly don't think anything comes close to it.
Strat.: Civ II/III (any of you who liked Civ2, GET CIV3, it's incredible), both Myths, and the Warcraft series
Other: Grand Theft Auto 1, 2, and 3. I still play each of them actively, and they never cease to amaze me.

Damn, I gotta go play some games...

The best game series ever has to be Command & Conquer. It redefined the whole-real time strategy combat genre!

Age of Empires comes in a close second, providing as much fun as C&C did, but it's a copy-cat off of C&C..

Third would have to be NOX multiplayer. My friend and I spent way too many hours playing it. It's quite simply the most out-of-the-box creative game I've played.

I gotta say, I've been playing Civ III for three weeks now and it doesn't disappoint. I had a marathon session this weekend that was only interrupted by a power outage. I could starve playing this game, for lack of desire to move from the screen...

My favorite computer game ever is Rainbow Six... I wasted almost 2 years playing that multiplayer.

My favorite console game is Metal Gear Solid for ps1. Ive played a lil of the new one, but not enough to enjoy it as much.

My favorite classic is Super Punch Out or Street Fighter II for Super Nintindo... gad I miss that thing

I have to say I've been known to play Counter-Strike for almost 12 hours straight. I'm a huge fan of shooters...so I'll have to say Counter-Strike is my all-time favorite game, with Diablo II falling in behind.

This game redefines the Fps.

Most excellent, and I'm not really a quake, unreal player. Althought "Thief the dark project" was way cool.

The only game I play when I am high is Tony Hawk 3 for me ps2. It never ceases to amazed me some of the things you can do in that game. Plus unlocking videos. There is a good hour+ of DVD quality movies on that disc to watch if you can't physically play anymore

Grinding, manualing, flipping, I can't see where one could go wrong.

My highest scores come from playing high. I think it's more than just a coincident
