Skiing - the best of all worlds (esp. with all the ticket price wars this year). Get to be outside in the mountains, getting a great workout, and tokin' if you so desire. I'll be on those pearly while slopes tomorrow...

I wish I lived in Colorado. In Ohio the best we got is Mad River Mountain, the highest point in the state. Its nothing more than a glorified hill really. Plus, its gotta snow or all we'll have is that fake stuff.

Man, Tubing is the way I go =) It's a blast riding an innertube down a nice steep slope.


Hard to get it up the ski lift though.. and the workers there don't seem to aprove.. lol

Tubing - oh man. Best and fastest way to have the best time and also ensure injury. In NY they had a whole hill devoted to tubing, it was $10 for the whole time, and you got the ride up and the whole deal.
Yes, CO is wonderful. I used to ski East Coast, and will never go back (unless it's free!). Had some good times at Killington (the year they opened the new heated gondola) but it is off to Keystone tomorrow, with an 18" base already. I love the fact that it can be 65 and sunny down here in the Front Range and at the same time bringing down 4 new inches of powder up in the mountains.

None of the ski places here will allow tubers I have a feeling it's because I'm in Indiana though, not much of a ski state.

But, that's what the nice hill in the back of my property is for

Thats awesome Bear! You guys out west have it made, I live in NC and we have ski slopes in the mountains but its nothing like what y'all get to play with. I dont really care though skiing is fun, and you gotta take what you can get, right?

heh, my mountains half an hour away, and it's already got a 38.6" base with 4" of new snow in the past day. Went up 2 wkends ago, toked up , and my friend broke his leg(smacked a tree) for the second season in a row. I don't think i'll be doing much smokin now kuz i don't feel like sittin at home all season.
