Theres nothin like pullin out the 2600 after a nice toke. I think my favorite games were stampede and pitfall. Did anyone ever get et to work?
I never understood that game?

roms are ok,

but you can never beat having to blow the cartridge for a few minutes to get it to start, and finally seeing the nintendo logo.

or getting near the end of the game and the power goes out , and you have to start over, then knowing that the whole day is wasted but you dont care, and turn the game back on.

or sitting up all night playing the games to see what is around the next corner, or what happens in the next village.

or having your mom tell you that the damn nintendo is ruining your mind, and you know it is a sega. but you can't tell her because she will turn the damn nintendo off.

or, having everyone in the neighborhood over playing madden 93

and knowing that everyone chipped in on the $60.

ok, no more rambling, im just remembering the good ol days.

I was surprised when I saw this thread. I thought someone else read "2600 The Hacker Quarterly" also. Guess I was wrong.

Did anyone EVER finish Pitfall? I remember when I was a kid I racked up a killer score, but never got to the end, it just kept going. That poor bastard just kept running and jumping on crocs!

Ive got a 2600 and about 100 games but it wont work. Maybe Im just to lazy to figure it out. Yeah thats it.
