This was mentioned on another thread but i wanted to give it it's own thing. Shadowbane was just released a few weeks ago, anyone here play it?

I've given it a few hours of my time and i think it's not that bad. nothing like what they promised while it was being developed, but so far it's better than EQ or UO. I have not been able to play enough to get off of newbie island yet, but seeing as the only thing that has bothered me so far is the lag(which should be gone soon), i'm looking forward to getting in to the PvP.

Anyone some other opinions about this one?

All i have heard is good. Im getting it pretty soon ( when I happen to have the money ) I never played EQ or UO. I played Asherons Call for about a year and a half. I think its pretty sweet how towns and stuff can be destroyed. Seems a whole lot differet then any other MMO. Im going insane! I want to play!

Man if its better then EQ thats a feat not very easily accomplished.

I played eq for like 4 years off and on, quit for a year then for a few months here an there. That game was classic.. good memories..good people.

anyway i dunno im not going to play a Mmorpg until its just spectacular and mind blowing (like Everquest was when it first came out).

I havent had a chance to play Shadowbane yet, but I dont really think a game that you have to pay a monthly fee for is really worth it. NO, all my attention goes to Neverwinter Nights.
