i was wondering what effect smoking up before playing soccer does to all of you?

i tried searching and all i found was a couple people here and there talking about it, mostly talking about how it affects them in other sports, but not soccer.

i love soccer, its pretty much the only sport i play. my dad just came back from argentina and told me that everywhere you see people tokin up before playing a friendly game of soccer.

so maybe you european people can help me out with this, since there isn't much soccer in the united states.....

i haven't tried smoking, then playing, but planning on doing that a lot this summer.

never toked up while playing, but i toked up before a football (soccer) match one of my favourite memorys actually, The crowd and atmosphere was electric.

You should try as long as you don't care too much about the outcome and such. It has the potential to be really cool. I read one time some guy did that and he forgot where he was and what he was doing. Then he would remember and forget again. Crazy...

Man it doesn't help at all for me. I'm thirsty the whole time and my perception and time awareness are off, plus its hard to concentrate. The only good thing for me when I did it was after about 20 minutes the high wore off.

I did it yesterday, a little by accident. I toked up and forgot i had a game that night. called my house to check in and my dad was like YOU HAVE A GAME TONIGHT GET HOME. So i had to come home i was really stoned. I play varsity right now so i was so stoned and the kids were beating the crap out of me, but i didnt do so badly....i had a goal

Smoking up before a nice match with your buds. I play pretty much from friday to sunday in a field a couple hundred yards from my house.
I rather smoke after the game so you can relax and stuff. Sometimes when i smoke before i get sorta lost in the game.

if you smoke really dank weed and concentrate enough to the point of being able to break out of the physical high and use the mind high to assist you in running/shooting/passing and such. ive played a few times high (all after smoking nuggs) and most of the time i was just too blazed to do anything, but a few times i played really well... shooting/scoring while high is really easy if youre good at it

I smoked before playing once this summer and I played better than I ever have...or at least better than usual...I could run faster and manipulate the ball better.

Yea, btw, soccer rocks! I also like basketball, but soccer is a really great sport.

Not recommended for rock climbing. As for football, that is Aussie Rules I have never had a smoke before a game, I only take the dexies and rev so hard I spew up white sh*t at half time but hey, the team respects me coz I go so hard.
