This is probably my favorite RPG of all time, and it rules when blazed. My username here is in fact a character from this game. Anyone else played it?

SUIKODEN IS KING OF ALL RPGS!!!!!!!!!!! besides chrono trigger.... Suikoden was on ps1. Its a rpg where you collect an army and you get to pick your group that fights with you(you can collect more than 100 characters). You can fight in group battles, single 1 on 1 face offs and battles with armies. You also get to build a castle as your base. My favorite game .

Yup!! I liked it slightly better than Chrono Trigger but they're both great. The storyline is awesome. It takes place in an old Medieval setting. You are the main character, the son of the most powerful General in the Kingdom, and very loyal to the Emperor. When he departs, you begin to work for the Emperor but soon begin to see the corruption in the Empire. Going any further would give away too many spoilers, but it's a great game, good storyline.

I liked the old final fantasy for nintendo and rogue saga and dragon quest were my favorite storyline in a rpg game, but your seems interesting. I usually like the uniqueness of your exp gained with your character growth and how that take apart during the story or is related to the storyline of the game but it usually works out without having to buy the guides and stuff. How about you?. ![]() | |

Yea it definately is a great game along with me liking suikoden II slightly more than part 1. Part three was good but I and II were the best rpg's i hold em up there with chrono trigger. It was great the way you could bring over the save game file if you had all the stars of destiny to make the next game more enjoyable.

Yeah, there were a lot of things that were a little better about part II. Luca Blight for one.. He is probably the best video game villain ever. II also had an incredible soundtrack, and it was a lot longer. Both storylines were excellent of course. I guess I just love the original the best, probably because that was the first one, the one that got me into the series. Loading the S1 data for S2 was very cool as well as useful; McDohl is one of the best fighters as well as magicians in the game. The Unite attack between the hero and himself was also very useful. Who are your favorite characters? I think Viktor has to be my all time favorite Suikoden guy, he's hilarious, and very useful to boot. Flik was an excellent sidekick to Viktor, and together they are funny, but alone I couldn't stand Flik.
