Anyone out there from colorado that skis and smokes? Dose anyone want to meet at Mary Jane and smoke one in the rausta shak? Even if you don't want to smoke with me, let me know if you smoke and enjoy the winter sports.

hey- i'm from Boulder, i'll be hitting the slopes over the winter break--i'd love to smoke in the rausta shack--but i've never heard of Mary Jane, is it a ski resort?? just name the day and i'll be there. I've never skiied high before but i have no doubt it would be great

You have never herd of Winter Park/Mary Jane? Anyways there used to be around twenty-eight little rausta shaks sporaticaly placed around Mary Jane and the surrounding national forsest. This summer the national forest service said they alll had to be taken down except for a handful at the ski area. They are the ****...Well pretty much tight for smoking because you can get out of the elements and there are other stoners willing to match in and out all day. THey are pretty much A-frame shacks hidden in the trees. As soon as the resort opens more terrian. We can't get there untill mid december... It should be open....Hopefully if we get any snow!

Oh man, boarding when I'm loaded is a blast. I go up to Colorado every winter, and last winter I went to Vail. One of the days I was there we got dumped on, and I mean ****ing dumped on. I was up to my waist in pure ****ing powder, I couldn't tell where the trail ended it was so crazy. Best ****ing day of my entire life, no doubt. I couldv'e died that night and I wouldn't have given a **** cause it wouldn't have mattered, my life was fulfilled.

THats what it was like last march when that blizzard rolled through. Mary Jane got 84inches in fourty-eight hours. Ass high on a twelve foot Indian. I was stuck up there for four days with a little less than a half once of the killz! I could have died and been totally happy with it.

why didn't anyone ever tell me about this before?! I've been to winter park but never heard of Mary Jane...this is cool...and to think all the time I've been going to Keystone- you should PM me whenever you're gonna be there

I live in Colorado and I've never heard of mary jane before.

I go boarding every once in a while. It's not really my thing because I spend most of the time on my @ss. It's not really fun when your ripped and keep falling on your face and getting snow up your coat. I think thats pretty much the ultimate buzz kill.

Snowboarding stoned slows my reaction times and i cant say i really enjoy it. I tend to fall cause i dont focus on my boarding.

I want to be clear headed when going downhill off track or at high mountains.

This way i feel my feet stronger pressing the snow and havin total control of my board.

When we go home though its hit the bongs time w/friends in front of the fireplace

I'm with peace seeker; the few times I've tried skiing while high, I've done some pretty dumb things...

Moguls are pretty much out of the question, you just lose control, and hitting a decent jump really throws you off. Too dangerous for me, but the trip home is usually a good time for that...

I do it all the time, be it snowboarding or skiing, doing either while high is a blast. I've been skiing since I was 5 years old, and I've been snowboarding for the past 5 or 6 years, and I'm pretty good at it.

Getting high is great, especially on the bigger mountains, because those lift rides are so damn long that you might as well smoke while you wait. A friend of mine has a winter home up in Maine by this place called Sunday River, and I go up there a few times every year, its definitely the best place around here to ski/board.
