Top 5 Reasons why I hate Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
5.)LAG!!! everything runs fine until someone throws a toliet at you.
4.)Not enough weapons. Where's the Laser?
3.)Custom Maps are gay. The bomb doesnt kill anybody in Crossfire 2. whats the point?
2.)The crossbow sucks balls. Its cool to pin someone to a wall, but it doesnt travel instanly anymore.
1.)No Snarks. I kicked ass with snarks

5.) You just gotta find a server with a good ping. I find servers where there is only a little bit of lag at some points, but its nothing major.
4.) Yeah, I agree the weapon selection is... lacking. I'm sure they will add more in the future.
3.) Thats why they are custom, and not official :P
2.) The crossbow has saved my ass at times in close combat. I run out of ammo for the weapons I have, the crossbow comes up, and I nail them. Also, its a charm on Overwatch, because of the RPG camping spot. Someone even thinks of going onto the combine attachment to the side of the building and they are getting shot off
1.) I'm pretty sure that was only Sven Co-op (A mod), because I don't remember that in regular HL DM.

Overall, I feel it could use some improvement, but it works for now to pass some time.

Another thing to consider regarding "lag" is it might not be lag if your comp is a bit dated.

My system is all top notch except for a 1.8ghz processor. It was painful when I first tried the HL2 dm until I noticed it was eating up all my cpu usage. Disabled a lot of background applications and it was playable.. very playable.
