| bleh, Condition Zero is such a waste of money. Get CS Source my man. The one problem i find with it is the knife. It SUCKS! I hear its the same way with Condition Zero too. It is way to underpowered. I snuck up on this CT in Office, he was busy fighting a few Ts near his spawn, and I ran up, knife out. I knew it was a bit of a gamble, but I executed it perfectly. right as i pounced, he dropped back to reload, and i stuck him in the head and chest like 5 times, well, he finished reloading, and blew me away point blank. AAAAAAAAAA

dude.. I love counter-strike. I've been playing for like 3 years. I play it competitively too anybody here play cal?last weekend I was in a tournament.. teams from my town and nearby towns came down. my team got 3rd. we would've had 2nd(maybe first legalizit- the xbox knife is the same as the pc knife. 2 stabs = a kill (1 stab in the back) what's everybody's favorite weapon? I'd go with ak or awp.. tough choice.

Stick with it KmK.. it's a fun game. I guarantee that if you give it a few weeks or a month (online) you'll pretty much get the hang of it. The two easiest things to do to improve in cs when you first begin are learning to tell where people are by your headphones and shooting in short 2-3 round bursts while crouching. There are better methods for shooting than crouch+burst but you'll learn those as you go along ![]()

yea CS is hard, but you get used to it.i been playing for like 2 years now and im finally able to do good, get good kills/deaths ratios. most awesome move in CS is when youre gettin shot from behind, jump and turn real quick, crouch, and get the HS on the last guy on the enemy team.TeH PwN4g3

oh yea and sound is VERY important in Cs.play without headphones for awhile, and than get a good pair (like the plantronics DSP 500's, they own) and you see how vital it is.definately required for cs (and the neighbors, room mates)

DSP 500's are really great, but if cost isn't important, the McLaren F1 of headsets right now are Sennheiser PC155's. I think I'd be correct in saying that most professional cs players have been using them since last winter. A few go with the sony though. Really it isn't that important to have a state-of-the-art headset.. Just a $15-$20 pair will do just fine for most people. When/if you start getting into the competitive side of cs, you're going to want to make sure you have a microphone on your headset. Communication is key in this game When you're watching long A and you see a flash come around the corner, call it out so your teammates can rotate to help you.I do quite well with cheap headphones, but I assure you that as soon as I can spare the $100 required to buy PC155's, I'm bringing a set home ![]()
