Default Mercenaries

has any one else played this game?
i was just released yesterday and i went to pick it up after school, wow this game is awsome. its basically like GTA but instead ofa city or state you are in norht korea after a violent coup. well put simple you are a merc. who can take missions from 4 diffrent factions wiht the final goal of capturing or killing all 52 officials in a deck of 52, the top general being the ace of spades. the game is great it has like 66 vehicles and lots of guns. but hte coolesy part is there are about 16 diffrent types of air strikes and there is a russian mafia web site where you can order weapons vehicles and air strikes for a price, the vehicles and wepons get brought in my helicopter which is very cool.
i suggest everyone check it out

That game looked sick. I still havent got a chance to play it. My shtty town now only has 1, thats right 1 place you can rent xbox/ps2 games. and Everytime I go there Mercenaries is always out. I like creating chaos and riots and stuff so that game looks like the one.

I just picked up this game today, and after a few hours of playing I have to say wow, this game flat out rocks. Basically, It's like GTA where you go around accepting missions, and those missions get you information useful to some of the bounties you need to get. There are 52 bounties in all, and a whole lot of side missions, meaning this game takes awhile to beat.

I think the best part of this game is just blowing crap up. Basically any building or vehicle can be blown up using grenades, rockets, air strikes, just whatever you can think of.

Pick up this game, It's a blast .

Yeah I LOVE this game! I'm almost going to beat it for the 2nd time. Great replay value.

And remember, blowing up the statues gives you cash and checks it off a list.

Kind of a bump but...

I thought it was one of the worst games I've ever played but then again it was on xbox so I guess my expectations shouldn't have been that high. Trying to control your character is like trying to have sex with an arid cooch and ten condoms on.

Oh man, I beat the game the second way through, and I got a sweet rocket launcher that has 999 - 999 ammo, that locks onto both ground and air units, and makes a HUGE explosion that takes out anything near it.

And you are insinuating PS2 would be better? My pS2 has been turned on a total of 3 times since I bought an x-box. Twice, so that my 4 and 6 yr old nephews could play ATV Offroad Fury(admttedly, a great timekiller....and babysitter), and once because my wife had an urge to play her Sim's game.

Nope. PC > All.

I HAAAAAAAATE playing games without a keyboard and mouse. It's useless to try.

LOL....OK....I can respect that. However, PC games just annoy me. I'm a console gamer through and through
