| Allright, well im an everyday smoker and baseball just started. We run an anverage of 3 miles a practice, and i struggle bad. If i continue to smoke every day, and continue to work my hardest at running, im still going to improve, am i correct? Or do you think id have to cut back to start getting into better shape? |

| My guess is it will be easier on your lungs if you cut back a bit, all that smoking can't help your lung capacity. You should see an improvement over time too, but it probably won't be as big as if you cut back on the smoking.

| Whats up my fellow baseball player, my season started too and i started off really winded, but i didnt need to cut back becuase our running isnt that bad, usually like 10 laps around the track, sprinting the longways and jogginf the short followed up by 10 stairs or som. But 3 miles? Damn. Id agree with Dank Nugs, cut back if its tough for you to breathe and if practice gets easier you can smoke a little more. Also, im guessin that once games start your team wont have to run so much seeing that "spring" training is over with, and if thats the case you wont have to cut back. PS ever played long toss stoned?? |
