not yet, I got some other things that poped up $ wise, but I'm going to get to play it for the first time this friday, my friend just picked it up, cant wait, hes got the hole stearing wheel set up for the ps2.

hf on friday those steering wheels are supposed to be badass. I would get one myself but they run for like $100 right now... I can think of a few things I'd rather spend that on than a video game controller if ya know what I mean..

oh, if you haven't played any GT games before then don't get frustrated if you have a hard time with the handling.. it's a pretty realistic game, and you can't just take corners at full throttle like need for speed underground 1 or 2.

Yah I own all the GTs except 4. Im pretty good at 3, Rippin it up in the Skyline. Cant wait till try driftin in 4. Did they add anymore upgrade parts for your cars in 4?

My friend told me he bought some type of toyota car that only has 1 gear, and will go 200mph+

Yeah it's a prototype Toyota race car that uses a really weird transmission.. instead of having multiple gears like a normal car, it is able to adjust the gear ratios for its single gear to get the best economy(looking for a different word but my mind isn't helping me much right now) possible for that speed. I've seen that type of tranny on howstuffworks.com but right now I cannot remember what it's called.. If I find it I'll tell you though. It's a really good read when you're stoned very interesting stuff if you like cars.

GT3 and GT4 are quite a bit different.. I was expecting to be able to go straight into 4 and rip it up, but the physics are a lot different. Overall I think it is MUCH more fun; it's definitely worth buying! The best way I've heard the difference in physics described is this: in GT4, lateral forces are much more important than in any previous GT game. It still feels as real as any of the other games, but it's different enough to require a bit of practice to get good at.

If you enjoy ripping it up in the skyline, you should have a blast in GT4 IIRC there are 58 skylines in the game.. That's like 10% of the entire car list lol. Plenty to choose from.

GT games are so fun when blazed.. It totally reminds me of how I SHOULD NOT drive when I'm high though lol. Last time I drove high IRL I got into an accident and it was totally my fault.. Anyways I think I'm drifting off topic here so I'm just going to hit submit and be done with it.

Cool cool,. i forgot about this Thread, haha. But I did end up playing gt4 that friday. Only got to play for like 30 mins but none the less. Im hooked. I really like the fact that you can buy use cars too.

That prototype toyota car is cool, That 2 seater Niker car too. Haha I was cracking up when my friend showed me the 1918 steam engine cars.

Im buyin this game for sure. Also I like when you hit a fall or spin out in this game, you hit that wall !BAM! screen gets all shakey and dizzzy. thats cool as hell.

lol 2 player mini cooper races are hilarious. yay for shelby mustangs but gt3 is alot easier to get used to
